3 Tidy Tasks

Have you noticed that you feel less stressed when you come home to a tidy house?

I know that I’m not going to have a super clean and tidy house every single day, but I have found that doing just a few SIMPLE tasks every morning makes a BIG difference in how I feel when I walk into our home at the end of a work day.

View my video to see the 3 simple tasks help me to feel LESS STRESSED every day. I bet they will work for you, too!

1. Make your bed every morning.

I know, I know…… you’re probably thinking….who’s going to see my bed?? YOU Are! It just takes a minute or two to make your bed in the morning. Try doing this for a few days. You’ll soon realize that one minute in the morning is worth every second when you experience how nice it feels to walk into a calm, tidy bedroom in the evening.

2. Clear off your coffee table.

If your coffee table is anything like ours, it is a magnet for clutter. Mail, catalogs, snack foods, beverage bottles… they all end up there… because our living room is the place where we kick back and relax every evening. Take a minute to tidy your table in the morning, or may in the evening before you go to bed. It’s a tiny task that makes a big impact!

3. Put away the clean dishes every morning.

We hand wash our dishes in the evening, so we usually have clean dishes sitting in one side of our sink every morning. I take the time to put them away before I go to work because it makes me happy to see an empty sink when I get home from work. If you use a dishwasher, unload it in the morning. The LAST thing you want to be faced with when you get home from a tiring day is something that needs to be done!

Until next time ….. Remember to keep it SIMPLE!
